FLUXO present at Eneva's Gavião Preto Project
Gavião Preto Project consolidates FLUXO as the main national supplier of natural gas treatment systems for PGN's projects
Since 1979, Elecnor has been developing in Brazil its extensive capacity as an EPC-type company in multiple infrastructure activities, as well as a promoter and investor in renewable energy, energy and environmental infrastructure.
With great participation in the projects of Parnaíba Natural Gas (PGN), Elecnor was once again contracted by Eneva in EPC format for the implementation of the new Gavião Preto Production Station (EPGVP) in the state of Maranhão.
Reprinting successful projects from the past, FLUXO was once again chosen by Elecnor to supply integrated solutions to be implemented in the instrumentation and automation project of the Gavião Preto (GVP) natural gas production field. Flow metering stations (EMEDs), condensate stabilization skid (URC), tank truck loading skid (SCC) and tank telemetry system (STT) will be provided.
The flow measurement stations will be responsible for the fiscal measurement and appropriation of natural gas, condensate and produced water. In all, five skids will be provided, three for measuring natural gas, one for measuring condensate and one for measuring produced water.
Different flow measurement principles will be used, having chosen the best solution for each application. The chosen principles were orifice plate for natural gas, ultrasonic for natural gas in the Flare line, coriolis for condensate and magnetic for produced water.
The condensate stabilization skid will be responsible for treating the condensate from the three-phase separation vessel, removing the light particles, delivering it at a pressure sufficient for its flow to the tank, without using pumping. In this skid, the pressure of the condensate will be reduced and it will be heated to facilitate the removal of gas in the degassing tower. In order to ensure better energy efficiency, this stabilized condensate will be used to pre-heat the incoming condensate current in the tower. This skid will increase the operational efficiency of the plant, and reduce the pollution emitted into the atmosphere.
The tank truck loading skid will use the Honeywell Fusion4 flow rate pre-determiner, which is the most modern equipment for controlling the loading process on the market today. In addition, it will use Faure Herman's TZN Turbine for flow measurement, which has an advanced design and robust construction, with high repeatability and linearity even in high viscosity fluids, allowing performance stability in the long term.
In addition to the skids, FLUXO will also install the complete tank telemetry system, which will store all the condensate produced in the field. The system, to serve six tanks, will consist of radar-type and servo-type level gauges, in addition to temperature tapes, a signal concentrator, remote display and stock management software. Fluxo's system features Honeywell Enraf components and is the most accurate on the market - with a level measurement uncertainty of +/- 0.4mm - ideal for installation in custody transfer tanks.
With great enthusiasm and satisfaction for making these supplies, Fluxo is consolidating itself as the main national supplier of natural gas treatment systems for PGN's projects, being also present in two other large fields in the Parnaíba Basin that are already in production, the Gavião Branco (GVB) and Gavião Caboclo (GVC) fields.
