FLUXO starts manufacturing chemical injection skids for UO-BC
Each year, FLUXO increases its market share in chemical injection skids. Between 2019 and 2020, it supplied 11 modules for the Fields Basin Exploration and Production Operations Unit (UO-BC), and in the first half of this year it was awarded with 14 more complete chemical injection skids for this same unit operating company.
The systems supplied are subject to strict quality and performance requirements, with customized designs and that require easy maintenance, especially on off-shore platforms, a market in which FLUXO has total specialization to meet.
“We started in the chemical injection market with dye injection systems for anhydrous ethanol in plants in the Midwest of Brazil. Today we have more than 100 systems supplied or rented for the most diverse applications in the national territory and on off-shore platforms”, celebrates Daniel Barros, FLUXO's Operations Director.
14 chemical injection skids in 4 months
This contract for UO-BC has a special challenge: the installation of 14 skids on 5 different platforms in just 4 months. They are: 5 skids for FPNIT+TQ, 2 skids for P-25, 2 skids for P-43 and 5 skids for P-48.
UO-BC is the operations unit that manages the mature fields and concessions located in the extreme south of the Campos Basin. UO-BC's average daily oil production is around 380,000 barrels per day. There are 34 platforms connected to 332 oil-producing wells and two gas-producing wells. The unit also operates 87 water injection wells, two gas injection wells and three water collection wells.
