Rotork opened its own office in Brazil under the direction of Emílio Osterling, former Rotork Latin America Sales Manager. Rotork Brasil's initial goal is to provide sales and engineering support to meet the growth of the Brazilian hydrocarbon industry, led by Petrobras. Another objective is to strengthen Rotork's presence in other markets such as mining, water and sanitation, chemical industry, energy and alcohol. Rotork Brasil will also enable customers to communicate in real time with Rotork's research and development groups, and senior application and project engineers around the world, via teleconference.
Rotork Brasil's office is in the city of Rio de Janeiro. In his tasks, Emílio has the help of administrative assistant Maria Clara Pecly and engineer Gil Cavalcante. Emílio Osterling declares himself very proud of the new team: “I am confident that the young team of professionals will bring success to our company”, declares Osterling. The new headquarters in Brazil has a demo room with Rotork's main products, interconnected through the Pakscan protocol.
Rotork operates in the country side by side with Fluxo in the distribution of valve actuators, motorized valve remote control systems, intelligent electric, electro-hydraulic and Skilmatic actuators. The technical support for this equipment is carried out in Brazil by Fluxo technicians and engineers, certified by the Rotork factory.
