Automind, a subsidiary of Fluxo and a specialist in systems integration and automation activities, was hired by Construtora Norberto Odebrecht to implement EFAL's supervision and control system, which is currently in the field testing phase, with pre-production planned. operation for the beginning of this month of April. Automind is responsible for the design, configuration, programming, integration, testing and pre-operation of the system. Operation and maintenance training for Petrobras will also be carried out by Automind.

EFAL's Supervision and Control System uses a Delta V DCS that has two operating interfaces, one for engineering and a server that also has the engineering function.

The System is divided into 2 parts: interlock and control. The plant interlocking is performed by a Delta V controller that is interconnected with the intelligent CCM, formed by GE relays and WEG inverters, through a Profibus network. The I/O modules are interconnected with the final field elements - motors and ON/OFF valves, and with all the safety instrumentation, such as gas and flame detectors, in addition to emergency buttons and local commands for the motors.
The Analog Control of the plant is carried out by two other Delta V controllers, for critical and non-critical loops, which interface with all the plant's process instrumentation through Fieldbus networks. The basic difference between these two controllers is that the critical loops have CPU redundancy and I/O cards.

Floboss 407 gas flow computers and oil EMEDs are also interconnected to the critical loop controller via a Modbus network.
