Main Differentials

Meters recognized worldwide for their high performance, achieved through a helical rotor, specially machined to allow measurement in a wide range of viscosity and for its robustness, its construction makes the fluid velocity parallel to the blade, making it less sensitive to viscosity and density variation.

The rotor is manufactured from a single solid block of titanium or aluminum (no welded parts). Developed based on detailed engineering analysis, the design offers improved reliability and performance.

Due to its helical technology, the FAURE HERMAN Turbine Type meters can be easily used as a Standard Meter, featuring a high level of repeatability (<0.04% in 5 measurements to obtain the uncertainty <±0.027%), as required by the requirements of the standard API MPMS 4.5 for standard measurement applications.

All meters are calibrated with hydrocarbons, no water is used, thus ensuring that all meters work well under the process conditions at the customer's site. Furthermore, the fluid is thermally controlled during calibrations, resulting in a more stable thermal profile and better repeatability.

This calibration is performed in the Faure Herman laboratory which is accredited by COFRAC, in accordance with ISO/IEC 17025, which is a member of the ILAC (International Laboratory Accreditation Cooperation). As INMETRO has a Mutual Recognition Agreement with ILAC, see the link below, the factory calibration is recognized.

The robustness of the Faure Herman turbine meter, in combination with custom factory calibration, ensures performance stability over many years.

Pick-up Coil and Pre-Amplifier used in all sizes and models are the same, thus reducing the amount of spare parts reserved for possible replacements.

Model TLM has a flow conditioner integrated in the meter body, so it does not require a straight run downstream or upstream.
