Deten modernizes its loading system with FLUXO solution
DETEN Química, a company of the Spanish CEPSA, located in the Camaçari Industrial Complex (COPEC) - Bahia, has awarded FLUXO the contract to modernize its trucks loading system.
The project consists supplying four tank truck loading skids for Deten's products:: Linear Alkylbenzene Sulfonic Acid (LAS), Linear Alkylbenzene (LAB), and Heavy Alkylbenzene (ALP).
The project’s scope includes all the new covering of loading terminals, piping, electrical, civil, and an automation system, which shall operate composed of: electronic predeterminer model Fusion4 MSC-L (Multi Stream Controller – Loading), flow meters, digital control valves, grounding and overfill monitors, top or bottom loading arms, blocks for additive and marker injection (when applicable), among others.
The electronic predeterminer Fusion4 MSC-L shall operate as the main equipment, capable of controlling up to 6 loading arms simultaneously. Manufactured by Honeywell/Enraf and distributed exclusively by FLUXO in Brazil, the model works as the loading systems intelligence, and composes the solution for terminals automation provided by FLUXO.
This equipment is assembled and interconnected on a metallic structure (skid) designed and manufactured by FLUXO, which shall deliver the system ready and pre-commissioned for start-up in the field.
‘’It is a driving project for us,” says FLUXO Account Manager, Rodrigo Santana, who is responsible for servicing Deten. “In addition to the skid building, the project includes another challenge: the new covering of the loading terminals, something that has already been carried out by FLUXO in other projects, such as the Raízen’s case,” he concludes.
