Flow celebrates 35 years of Cattalini
Cattalini, a company built by Italian immigrants Dino and Stefano Cattalini, celebrated its 35th anniversary with the presence of Fluxo, showing the public the successful and important collection built in the strategic Bay of Paranaguá, in Paraná, where its storage is today. of liquid products consists of 116 tanks with a storage capacity of 520,000 m3.
Cattalini has the largest private Brazilian terminal in terms of storage capacity in the same location, with its own pier with two berths and drafts of 12 and 10 meters, which allow for the docking of four simultaneous vessels of 50,000 dwt. The terminal is connected to three bus terminals and one rail terminal. The highway allows the movement of 9,000 vehicles per month, a number that should increase significantly with the current contracting of the Fluxo automation system. Interesting is the movement of 60% of its volume with vegetable oils, in addition to hydrocarbons and their derivatives and chemical products.
Fluxo is grateful for the relationship of trust it has with Cattalini, a pioneering company in innovation for terminal automation, which values technology at the service of efficiency and operational safety. Over a 15-year partnership, Fluxo provided the telemetry system for all of its 116 tanks, installed six dual loading skids with Coriolis meters and Honeywell Fusion4 presets for the CT3B, where the automation of the DL- 8000 old (first automation provided by Fluxo). Cattalini was also the first private terminal to implement a motorized valve remote control system (STVM) on the pier, in addition to tanking, using Rotork's Pakscan network. Recently, Fluxo was contracted to supply 21 measurement spans mounted on skids, with Coriolis meters and Honeywell Fusion4 preset for the CT1, in addition to supervisory software with a virtual pump alignment system.
