Samson and Fluxo introduce their line of positioners to the Brazilian market

Fluxo and Samson present to the Brazilian market its line of intelligent positioners equipped with sensors for leak detection “Leakage Detector”. Samson intelligent positioners allow the customer to monitor throughout the life of the valve whether or not there is a leak between the plug and seat, as well as coherently and statistically quantifying such leakage. This feature will allow the user to decide when to stop for maintenance on the valve, or even calculate how much that leak is costing the operation.

BASF Brazil is studying the use of Samson solutions for advanced diagnostics and asset management successfully implemented at BASF Germany. The solution has already reduced by more than 60% the number of valves to be removed for maintenance at a scheduled shutdown. In addition to BASF, Samson and Samson Group companies have already made significant supplies to companies such as Petrobras, White Martins, ThyssenKrupp, Bayer, Nestlé, BRF, FRSU Golar Winter, FPSO Cidade de Paraty, among others.
