Realwear and OverIT launch new features for field service
Realwear's Navigator 500 and OverIT's Next-Gen FSM arrive to lead companies into the field service of the future
Earlier this year, Realwear introduced a new generation of wearable tablets with the launch of the Navigator 500. Lighter and thinner than the previous generation, the device features a 48 MP camera with low-light sensors, hot-swappable battery, a Snapdragon 662 processor and 4GB of RAM. The internal memory size has been doubled to 64GB.
The already-known models HMT-1 and HMT-1Z1 - certified for Zone 1 classified areas - are still in line and are still being marketed and updated. A new firmware version is scheduled for release this September.
Units of the new Navigator 500 model have already been marketed by FLUXO for a large energy company to use for remote collaboration in maintenance and inspection services.
