FLUXO gathers the best equipment to compose its chemical injection portfolio
Over the past years, FLUXO has supplied different pieces of equipment such as pumps, valves, fittings and complete skid-mounted systems intended for chemical injection pumping and control for the oil & gas market.
Many pump units supplied are manufactured by North American company CheckPoint, which designs mainly pneumatic pumps - 100% in stainless steel and other noble materials - and also piston-type pumps (API 674) driven by electric motors. Both are considered high quality and reliable, with low maintenance. Companies such as SBM Offshore have chosen CheckPoint's pneumatic pumps as the worldwide standard for use on their platforms.
In its last supplies of complete solutions to Petrobras that required double diaphragm pumps (API 675), FLUXO started using Italian pumps manufactured by Exakta-Seko, which in practice showed their very high quality, both in terms of materials and manufacturing. After several successful deliveries, in the beginning of 2022 FLUXO signed a partnership with this manufacturer and became its exclusive distributor in Brazil for the oil & gas market. Petrobras has already observed gains with the use of this pump, and is in the process of replacing other diaphragm pumps with Exakta-Seko pumps on some of its platforms.
The third product that integrates FLUXO's solutions for chemical injection is Yokogawa's FluidCom. The manufacturer also granted FLUXO the exclusive distribution of the equipment in Brazil to serve the oil & gas market.
FluidCom is a flow controller that incorporates, in a single instrument, a flow meter, a regulating valve, an actuator and a controller, with no moving parts. It is extremely compact and lightweight, and among other attributes, can replace old IRCDs control systems that require high maintenance and provide low reliability. Both SBM and Petrobras are already in the process of conducting practical tests to approve this new technology and reduce chemical waste.
At the Rio Oil & Gas Fair, to be held this September, the executives of these three partners will be present at FLUXO's booth, displaying equipment for demonstration. "We invite all interested parties to visit us and, besides getting to know these pieces of equipment, talk to us about solutions for chemical injection systems", completes Rafael Amarante, FLUXO's Product Manager.
