FLUXO is a benchmark in the vapor recovery and combustion market
The need for technology for the recovery or combustion of vapors of volatile organic compounds (VOCs) is increasingly present in fuel terminals that are concerned with contributing to the reduction of the emission of pollutants in the atmosphere and to the containment of gases that cause the greenhouse effect.
The vapor recovery process involves the separation of VOCs, and later, the liquefaction of these vapors for return to the storage tank. In vapor recovery units (VRUs) with activated carbon, the VOC separation step is carried out through a process of adsorption and liquefaction by absorption.
FLUXO has more than 20 VRUs manufactured in partnership with Jordan Technologies and is one of the few companies in Brazil to have efficiency approval from the Environmental Company of the State of São Paulo (Cetesb), making it a benchmark for specialization and trust in the market.
FLUXO is also experienced in enclosed flame combustion systems. The Vapor Combustion Units (VCU) promotes the thermal destruction of fuel and chemical vapors through a stack heated to 850 °C, without producing light or smoke.
Ruff and AGEO: FLUXO provides vapor recovery and combustion units
Thanks to its prestige in the market, FLUXO closed two more supplies for Ruff and AGEO terminals. For the Ruff Terminal, in Paulínia, FLUXO was contracted to manufacture and install a suitable VRU for terminal operation, replacing the pre-existing URV, which was not approved by Cetesb. RUFF is a consolidated fuel distributor in the national market, operating since 1995, and present in the states of SP, MG and PR.
AGEO contracted FLUXO to supply a UCV for the Barnabé Island terminal. With 100% national capital, AGEO Terminals began operations in 2004, becoming leaders in the movement of liquid bulk in the Port of Santos after 4 years of operation. Today, AGEO has a storage capacity of 510,220 m³ in 294 tanks, in 3 areas on Barnabé Island.
FLUXO is proud to contribute to the sustainability of the planet, through the implementation of numerous automation projects for these and other important terminals. "In this way, we continue to perpetuate partnerships in the market through reliability and excellence in the services provided for more than 32 years" celebrates Fábio André Alves, Commercial Director of FLUXO.
