Flow delivers truck loading stations for LPG and C5+ and gas EMEDs for Comperj

Per Daniel Barros

In October 2020, Fluxo delivered 10 tank truck loading stations to Comperj's facilities, in partnership with the KM8 Consortium. The supply comprises 7 units that will operate with LPG, and 3 units that will be dedicated to loading C5+. These skids have the function of determining the quantity of product, controlling the operation and guaranteeing the operational safety of loading the trucks.

Also for Comperj's Natural Gas Processing Unit (UPGN), Fluxo, also in partnership with KM8, delivered the gas metering stations (EMEDs) for the Guapimirim and Maricá gas pipelines, which have 10' and 20' in diameter respectively. This set of EMEDs will have the capacity to measure more than 20 million cubic meters of gas per day, in normal operation. The gas pipeline complex has 355 km of piping installed offshore and 48 km installed on land, and was named by the ANP as ROTA-3.

The project developed by the KM-8 consortium will be Petrobras' largest natural gas processing unit (UPGN) in Brazil. It will be responsible for increasing the production capacity of natural gas in the country, and will bring even more strength to the New Legal Framework for Natural Gas (PLs nº 6407/2013), in addition to collaborating for a future reduction in the price of fuel throughout the territory Brazilian.
