Fluxo and Petrobras sign inspection contract for loading arms

Last May, Fluxo and Petrobras signed an important contract for inspection services for the loading arms of the São Sebastião Terminal (Tebar).

The contract involves the partner of Fluxo Technip FMC - Division Loading Systems (world leader in the manufacture of equipment, including marine loading arms). The scope named PMI (Preventive Maintenance Inspection), covers several specialized technical services for the evaluation of components and functionality of the eight loading arms and their auxiliary hydraulic and control systems, for the project: New Pipelines of the North Pier and Replacement of the Loading Arms of the São Sebastião Waterway Terminal ( Tasse).

PMI is the beginning of the activation activities of these loading arms, inactive for years, whose final objective will be their assembly at Tebar North Pier, replacing the arms in operation. The services started at the end of June and are expected to take approximately 70 days to complete.

The project was planned and structured by Fluxo and relies on the expertise of Technip FMC's technical team to perform the entire scope of services with reliability, quality and safety.

At the end of the services, a detailed inspection report will be issued, with recommendations, photographic record and a list of spare parts for maintenance. Petrobras will also receive a plan for the preservation of the arms, which will cover the post-maintenance period, until the definitive installation of the arms on the pier.

The contract was welcomed by the Petrobras contracting team, South-Southeast-Central-West Logistics Infrastructure Project Implementation Division (IP-IL/LOGSP), for the resumption of contracting, which had been paralyzed for more than two years, a period in that Petrobras underwent safe reviews of its internal contracting procedures and its management model.
