Cattalini invests in Fluxo's technology to optimize its processes
Cattalini Terminais Marítimos owns and operates the largest private park for liquid bulk in the country, offering 520 thousand m3 of storage capacity in 116 tanks (including the first phase of the CT-4, under construction). The entire installed base of automation was supplied by Fluxo, including tank telemetry and a remote control system for motorized valves (tank and pier valves).
Cattalini is always expanding its facilities and optimizing its processes. This time, it acquired six top and bottom loading loading skids from Fluxo, each with two measurement spans (one for each type of loading), a Coriolis mass meter and Honeywell Enraf's new Fusion4 predeterminer. The contract was closed in July, and delivery is scheduled for the end of this year.
The scope also includes the complete project of the work, the installation service and the integration with the automation. Through the virtual alignment software, the operation has the flexibility to select any of the linked pumps for any loading point. The entire system will be interconnected through a digital network (Modbus TCP protocol) and monitoring will be carried out through a supervisory in the operating room.
The skids will improve the terminal's operational security, the efficiency and agility of loading and the control of the precision of the loaded products, which will result in an increase in the reliability of Cattalini's transactions with its customers.
