New partner for safety and relief valves

Farris Engineering, one of the divisions of Curtiss-Wright's Valve Group, is pleased to announce that Fluxo will represent its line of safety and relief valves in the Brazilian market.

Farris Engineering has been a leader in the design and manufacture of safety and relief valves since 1940. Farris Safety and Relief Valves are known for their superior performance and convertibility between parts, features that optimize their lifetime benefits and maintenance costs. Its performance can be proven through the history of supplying to various industrial facilities around the world.

Farris Engineering offers a complete line of spring-operated or pilot-operated safety valves in connections ranging from 1/2” to 20”, pressure ranges from 2 psig to 10,000 psig, temperatures from -450°F to 1500 °F and in the most diverse material options such as carbon steel, stainless steel, alloy steels (resistant to low and high temperatures), Monel®, Hastelloy C, Duplex and materials in compliance with NACE, in addition to other materials available as per the request of the client.

All Farris products are manufactured in accordance with ASME standards and carry the Section NB I, III and VIII capability certificate. Our valves comply with API standards and hold PED/CE, ATEX, CSQL, TSSA, GOST-R / RTN certificates, as well as many other country, industry and customer specific certifications.

To assist customers in the critical process of sizing and selecting safety relief valves, Farris has developed the SizeMaster® sizing program, which is freely available for download.

Farris also provides pressure relief system management solutions to assess and monitor a plant's entire life cycle. iPRSM® software also provides solutions to comply with international standards such as OSHA and other regulatory codes.

Farris Engenharia's headquarters are located in Brecksville-Ohio, USA, where new projects, engineering, manufacturing and tests are developed, in addition to one of the few laboratories accredited by the ASME to carry out flow tests. Additional manufacturing and sales facilities are located in Canada, China, UK, India, Brazil and the United Arab Emirates.
