Flow ensures availability of Pecém and Guanabara actuators

Flow completes one year as responsible for the operational reliability and availability of the Rotork Valve Remote Control System at the LNG (Liquefied Natural Gas) Regasification Terminals in Pecem-CE and Guanabara Bay-RJ. The services were signed through a Maintenance Contract, signed between the BU Serviços da Fluxo and Petrobras, and are being successfully performed.

Maintenance Contract - planning and execution

Fluxo's first step was to develop a maintenance plan for the actuators, guided by the best reliability engineering practices. To prepare the plan, a survey of the status of assets in the field was carried out, failure rate and operational reliability calculations, and schedules for predictive and preventive inspections on each equipment were defined.

Predictive inspections, which were precisely detailed according to the needs of each piece of equipment, are carried out periodically and allow Fluxo to guarantee the level of availability provided for in the contract.

In case of situations that require emergency corrective maintenance, Fluxo dedicates two specialists to service these terminals, in addition to keeping a stock with all the spare parts necessary to guarantee the availability of assets.

The contract also provides for services during maintenance shutdowns, and training for the terminal's operation and maintenance teams. In addition, all these activities are periodically reported to those responsible for supervising the contract and managing Petrobras, through monthly reports customized to the needs of both.

Fluxo is proud to carry out, through its innovative methodology, the best reliability engineering practices for these two innovative and fundamental regasification terminals for the supply of Natural Gas in Brazil.
