Last December, Fluxo signed a three-year contract with Curtiss Wright. The contract granted Fluxo the exclusive representation of equipment, spare parts and services for coke drum valves - DeltaValve - in Brazil.
In order to serve customers in the best possible way, Fluxo's Services Unit has already started work. It hired Luiz Amorim - a professional experienced in contracts and valve maintenance shutdowns - to lead the service of DeltaValve's installed base in Brazil. Luiz Amorim and Fluxo's service specialist Adhemar Silva will be trained at the Curtiss Wright unit in Houston for 45 days, where they will monitor and work on the complete maintenance of 12 coke drum valves – DeltaValve. This practical training is part of the Fluxo team's training plan to enable services to be carried out during the RPBC and Revap maintenance shutdowns that will take place in 2013 and in the other refineries from 2014 onwards.
