Shell and BR control gas emissions with VRUs

Delivery began in April of the five Vapor Recovery Units (VRU) built by Fluxo with technology and technical support from Jordan Technologies, an American company that is world leader in solutions for the treatment of combustible vapors.

The units installed at the Cubatão Terminal – SP (TECUB), by BR Distribuidora, and at the Esteio Base - RS (BEST), by Shell Distribuidora, are now fully operational. In the next few days, Petrobras Distribuidora's Terminal de São Paulo-SP (TESPA) and Paulínia-SP (TEPLAN) units will begin operating, followed by a unit at the Vale do Paraíba Terminal (TEVAP), also owned by Petrobras.

An agreement signed between Jordan Technologies and Fluxo made it possible to nationalize these units, with gains in value and implementation time for users. Another great advantage of the agreement is the knowledge transferred to our technicians, who are qualified to provide all technical assistance to the installed equipment, increasing the availability of these systems.

Fluxo is proud to reach this milestone and to contribute to the protection of the environment, operators and drivers who circulate in the terminals.
