Rotork Skilmatic Training
Flux's service team completed training with UK specialist Barry Clayton, Rotork Skilmatic Applications Engineer, who taught professionals how to commission and maintain Skilmatic-type actuators.
The event took place at the Premier Copacabana Hotel, in Rio de Janeiro, between the 21st and 23rd of November. There were ten participants from the services division and one from the commercial area, including engineers, technicians and interns from almost all the company's branches: Rio de Janeiro, São Paulo, Salvador and Macaé.
The course offered a good practical exercise on Skilmatic: "after training, all participants already have enough knowledge to perform services for this type of actuator", says Tiago Assis, an engineer at Fluxo. Skilmatic's training is part of the company's training program, which began last year with courses from Rosemount and Rotork.
