In search of a good control system for its product and safe operation in its terminal, the Serra dos Aimorés distillery (DASA) acquired an automation solution from Fluxo to control its alcohol shipments. The order was made during Fenasucro, the largest fair in the alcohol sector, held in Sertãozinho-SP.
The automation of DASA's loading platforms will basically consist of a Danload 8000 electronic pre-determiner, a 788 digital control valve and a turbine-type flow meter, all from Emerson Process Management, a Civacon grounding and overflow monitor, in addition to of the OPW loading arm and pantograph ladder.
For the interface with DASA's corporate system, Fluxo will provide a communication driver between the predeterminer and the plant's tax department that will automatically generate invoices after the loading is complete.
