Flow and Valvtechnologies: excellence in after-sales
Within three months, Fluxo will be able to provide its customers with a complete after-sales service for Valvtechnologies' special ball valves. The big news is that the maintenance will be provided in its entirety in Brazil, including the coating of the valves, with the application of Chromium or Tungsten Carbides, using the “RAM” Rocket Applied Metallic method, which consists of hardening the surface of the internals. The coating guarantees greater resistance to the abrasion suffered by valves installed in pipelines, applications in Coking, Catalytic Cracking, among others. There is a suitable type of coating for each application.
The coating process is applied to valves installed in severe conditions or in contact with aggressive products, which undergo accelerated wear. Maintenance can also be carried out on old valves, with more than five years of continuous use, guaranteeing their operation with “ZERO LEAKAGE”. The service restores the valve making it work like new and also offers a two-year lifetime warranty.
To support the project, Fluxo's Services Manager, Gary Muñoz, visited the Valvtechnologies Service Center in Peru and received training that will be passed on to new partners for valve repair. Flux now offers a quick recovery of valves from Valvtechnologies, with factory warranty. This initiative is part of an agreement signed between Fluxo and Valvtechnologies for technical support in Brazil, which is becoming increasingly necessary due to the good demand for valves for the domestic market. In the last two years alone, Fluxo has sold more than 80 special valves to several customers, including Samarco, Vale do Rio Doce and Petrobras.
