ISO 9001 standards in operation
Flux Serviços de Petróleo Ltda. it has already incorporated the new procedures established by the ISO 9001 standards into its routine. The certification diploma was delivered to Fluxo by DNV's director, Samuel Barbosa, in a ceremony held on April 19 in the auditorium of the Premier Hotel, in Rio de Janeiro.
The certification covers all the company's units and comprises the sale of equipment for automation and industrial processes and the provision of installation, commissioning, maintenance and technical assistance services.
Customer satisfaction and improvement in administrative-bureaucratic processes are the focus of the quality management system, which has promoted a reformulation of the company's practices. “The system has improved our administrative practices, promoting the formalization of critical analyzes that were carried out without registration. Evidencing the analyzes carried out, establishing performance metrics and goals for improving administrative performance make the difference in the ISO 9001 standard”, explains Marcos Melo, administrative director of Fluxo.
The achievement of ISO 9001 is a reflection of Fluxo's efforts for conscious growth, which is just beginning. The next step has already been taken and has a name: Social Responsibility. Interviews and assessments have already begun for the implementation of the international standard SA 8000, a certification that will guide Fluxo in the direction of improving working conditions, respecting workers' rights and relations with suppliers and society.
