Petreco supplies the P-52
Petreco International, a company of the Cooper Cameron Inc. Group, will be responsible for supplying the test and production separators, for the construction of the produced gas dehydration and fuel gas conditioning units on the P-52 platform, to be installed in the Field Roncador, in the Campos Basin.
Petreco and Fluxo will partner with the FSTP Brasil SA Consortium, formed by the companies Fels, Setal and Technip, which will build the P-52 platform. All equipment must be delivered to FSTP by May next year. The separator vessels will be built in super-duplex steel, including the internal ones, due to the high salt content of the water produced during the extraction process.
A similar package was provided by the then Baker Hughes BakerProcess, currently Petreco International, a company managed by Fluxo for 13 years. The partnership supplied the test and production separators, gas dehydration unit and fuel gas conditioning unit for the P-40 platform, which came on stream in late 2001. Currently, the P-40 produces 150,000 barrels of oil per day, in the Marlin Sul Field, in the Campos Basin. Due to the success of production, Petrobras is carrying out studies to increase it to 180 thousand barrels a day.
