Civacon optimizes Esso terminal

In 2002, Civacon and Fluxo developed a solution to the problem of adapting the Esso Terminal in Betim/MG, which was to accommodate the use of bi-trains (trucks with two semi-trailers) in the loading operation using the Bottom system. Loading, without the need to move the vehicle.

The terminal's maneuvering space is limited and, in the traditional operating system, it was only possible to load one piece of equipment at a time. During the loading of the second semi-trailer, the truck remained in the middle of the maneuvering yard, which made it difficult for other vehicles to circulate.

To solve this problem, the Esso terminal acquired the charging monitor (overfill and grounding) from Civacon, model 8580, which allows adaptations in the base circuit with the release of the charging, always with the use of two plugs that, connected to the two semi-trailers, make mutual loading possible. In addition, Civacon equipment monitors the operation in relation to grounding and ensures spill prevention.

Another advantage of the adopted solution is the emission of a single signal to the base monitoring system, which would not accept a duplicity of simultaneous signals. The information for the loading operator (driver) is provided by a set of more efficient LEDs, with greater brightness and with a lifespan twenty times longer than the lamps used in conventional monitors.
