Fluxo and Baker Hughes start partnership to provide services

Per Eduardo Lavigne

The contract covers the provision of services for the Masoneilan and Consolidated valve line for the entire national territory

In December 2019, Fluxo presented a challenging action plan with the objective of boosting sales and service of Baker Hughes' Masoneilan and Consolidated valve line. Within the objective was the recovery of the brand image after leaving the Brazilian market 4 years ago, increasing market share (installed base) and providing aftermarket services, covering the entire Brazilian market.

After five months of studies, Fluxo and Baker Hughes approved the plan's bases in May 2020, defining the premises and responsibilities of each involved party.

The first step of the plan will be the qualification of Fluxo to obtain the MARC (Masoneilan Authorized Repair Center) certificate at its service base in Santana de Parnaíba-SP and with a team carefully selected for training. Other measures to be implemented will be the formation in Brazil of a local parts stock to streamline customer service, the creation of service partnerships for valves with renowned companies strategically chosen by region, led by Fluxo, the preparation of a specific catalog for disclosure with customers and mitigation of manufacturing and sale of non-original parts, which compromise the quality of valves and jeopardize the operation and compliance of customers.

"With partnerships already signed with Serventec (operating in the North/Northeast), Petrolane (operating in Rio de Janeiro, Espírito Santo, and offshore segment in the Southeast), Linear / Serventec (operating in the South region), in addition to the Base from Santana de Parnaíba, from Fluxo itself, leading the management of services, we will be able to meet the entire national territory in a satisfactory manner” says the Head of Strategic Projects Eduardo Lavigne. Even with the current problems related to Covid 19, Fluxo's and partners' service bases have all the infrastructure prepared and the training of professionals is scheduled for the beginning of July 2020.

Fluxo has exclusivity in the sale of parts, products and execution of services for the Masoneilan and Consolidated lines for the O&G segments (including thermal and petrochemical) nationwide, in addition to the chemical segment in the North/Northeast of the country. to be able to serve and serve the national market as a whole”, emphasizes Lavigne.
