New C5+ loading skid consolidates Fluxo's expertise for this application

Fluxo delivered a bottom loading C5+ charging system to Parnaíba Gás Natural, through the Consortium Construcap Fluor CFPS – UPGN Gavião Branco. The solution provided had the challenge of offering a reliable charging system, even with the characteristics of the C5+ fluid, which has paraffin in its composition, which makes the operation of digital control valves difficult. Flux's solution utilized Metroval's positive displacement metering technology, Honeywell Process Solutions' Fusion4 preset, and segmented ball-type control valves, providing greater control over loading.

In addition to the technical differential of the product, Fluxo's engineering team also has expertise from previous supplies of C5+ loading skids to Petrobras, such as UTGSUL and UTGCA. For this project, the ANP granted Fluxo the certificate of supplier of this equipment, which obtained more than 70% of national content.

Parnaíba Gás Natural is an independent natural gas exploration and production company located in Maranhão. It currently operates in six fields and seven exploratory blocks, with a total area of approximately 7,000 km². With an average gas production of 4.9 million cubic meters per day, it is the 2nd largest producer of natural gas in Brazil.
