Saab: history of success at Tequimar
In November of this year, the Santos Intermodal Terminal (TIS) will start operating in Alemoa, Santos/SP. With an initial area of 79,000 m², the terminal will have the capacity to store 115,000 m³ of chemical products, alcohol and vegetable oils. For the terminal's tank inventory, Tequimar chose the Saab Rosemount system of radar level gauges. 28 meters of the REX line will be supplied for fixed roof tanks. The equipment is already in Brazil and will soon be assembled at the terminal under the supervision of Fluxo. "The choice for Saab's radar level gauge is a response to its excellent operating history in similar facilities in Tequimar" says Paulo de Tarso Gomes, director of Ultracargo.
Ultracargo, a Grupo Ultra company, has been operating for over 35 years in the transport and storage of chemical, petrochemical and petroleum products. Ultracargo is formed by the companies Transultra, dedicated to specialized transport, and Tequimar, dedicated to the storage of liquid, liquefied and solid products.
