FLUXO improves integrity program and new Code of Ethics and Conduct
FLUXO launched the fourth edition of its Code of Ethics and Conduct, bringing together the entire FLUXO community from the offices in Salvador, Rio de Janeiro, São Paulo and the Factory in Santana de Parnaíba at the end of November 2023.
According to Hideo Hama, President of FLUXO, “Our new Code of Ethics and Conduct is an unequivocal declaration of our fundamental values, as a company, and reflects the principles that guide our daily actions, as well as our relationships with our colleagues, customers, partners and the community in general. The Code is not just a set of rules, but a guide that must guide and precede every decision we make.”
On this day, Training on the Code of Ethics and Conduct and the Corruption Prevention Manual was also carried out, with the participation of the legal firm MSTS Associados, which provided training to FLUXO's senior management, managers, coordinators and employees.
“The training was one of the improvement activities of the FLUXO Integrity Program, which we carried out from September to December last year, with the support of MSTS. We had the support of FLUXO's senior management, managers and employees in this improvement process, which was essential for completing the process in such a short time” says Luciana Darwich, HR, ESG and Compliance Manager.
Among the actions of this improvement program are the creation of the Integrity Committee formed by managers from FLUXO and the Compliance Office with a dedicated professional, review and update the procedures of the compliance and regulatory documents, such as the Corruption Prevention Manual and the Code of Ethics and Conduct, in addition to the implementation of an independent Reporting Channel, on the platform Safe Contact.
In 2024, the Integrity Program actions began in January with the “Compliance Moment”, a periodic communication that addresses important themes of the Integrity Program, followed by the submission of a content retention test. Throughout the year, we will have other informative actions, lectures and training in the activities calendar.
And the improvement doesn’t stop there. It will be a continuous process, which goes beyond legal compliance and compliance risk reduction. The improvement aims to adapt FLUXO's Integrity Program to the current demands of the market and our customers and business partners, and also reinforce an organizational culture that values ethics, responsibility and respect for laws.
