Model 100-IV. Solenoid Operated Isolation Valves
Target Rock has more than 3,000 solenoid valves installed worldwide in nuclear safety related applications. Plant designers have increasingly taken advantage of the low cost and ease of installation of solenoid valves compared to traditional isolation valve technologies.
Low weight and center of gravity mean the valves are supported in-line without the need to design and build additional seismic support. Low voltage and energy demands mean that solenoid valves require minimal support systems to operate - no pneumatics, no three-phase power cable, no motor control center.

100-CV model. Solenoid Operated Control Valves
Target Rock is the only company in the world with modulating flow control technology for water, steam and gas from a solenoid operated valve. The system consists of a pilot operated solenoid valve, an LVDT (Linear Variable Differential Transformer) for position indication and an electronic positioner to create a closed feedback loop that responds to plant control signals to modulate flow to meet the set point operational.
This technology is particularly suitable for emergency applications where a reliable and/or safety grade pneumatic instrumentation air supply cannot be provided or is not economically viable.
