Quadrogen offers a high-performance gas pretreatment solution, crucial for the longevity and efficiency of sensitive equipment such as fuel cells and engines. The system purifies biogas from complex sources (landfills, sewage, and agriculture) for use in power generation, heat, or injection into the natural gas grid (biomethane).
How it works
Purification is carried out using Quadrogen's core technology, the Integrated Biogas Cleaning System (IBCS). The process removes complex organic contaminants, ensuring that the fuel meets the specification requirements of the customer's power plant.

The system enables maximum utilization of biogas in various value chains:
- High-efficiency fuel cells (DFCs, SOFCs): providing ultra-clean fuel for the efficient generation of electricity and heat.
- Reliable power generation: using purified biogas in gas engines and turbines, ensuring less wear and greater operational reliability.
- Biomethane (GNR): upgrading biogas to Renewable Natural Gas, achieving the quality required for injection into pipelines or for use as vehicle fuel.
