Adonai acquires from Leakwise Flux Hydrocarbon Detector

Per Rafael Amarante

In March 2019, the private terminal for liquids Adonai, located on Ilha de Barnabé, in Santos-SP, acquired a hydrocarbon detector as part of a new gas and hydrocarbon detection and monitoring project in its storage basins and park. bombs.

Leakwise's detector will allow the terminal to detect leaks of any type of liquid hydrocarbon soon after any failure occurs. The equipment's performance aims to further increase the system's reliability and drastically reduce the operation's response time, which will be able to act immediately, preventing further damage.

The detector that will be installed in this application is a model ID-223/500, which has a float capable of supporting a level variation of up to 0.5m and capable of detecting a hydrocarbon film film with only 0.3mm thick . The Leakwise detector also has a specific relay to indicate when the sensor is in a completely dry place and another one that indicates communication failures between the sensor and its processor.
