Flow holds seminars on safety in tank handling
Last March, Fluxo held a cycle of seminars dedicated to its customers with a focus on the presentation of the API 2350 - Revision 4 standard, and presented the best practices and procedures that reflect the latest trends in tank safety management.
The seminars took place in the cities of Rio de Janeiro, São Paulo and Salvador. Over the three days, more than 80 representatives of the largest Brazilian companies discussed the best way to avoid overflow accidents in their storage tanks.
The seminars were a great opportunity for Fluxo's professionals to better understand users' applications and technically clarify to customers the advantages of the solutions offered by Fluxo. The seminars consisted of presentations by speakers Carl -Johan Roos and Hakan Jubel from Rosemount Sweden, Gil Cavalcante from Rotork Brasil, Eduardo Sousa, Tiago Assis and Wladimir Castro from Fluxo.
“With a growing market for terminals and refineries, and both owners and insurance companies and authorities with a focus on safety, the API 2350 seminars organized by Fluxo Soluções Integradas could not have happened at a better time,” says Hakan Jubel.
The event was coordinated by the product management of Fluxo Rosemount and Rotork with support from the company's marketing. Due to the success of the seminar, other similar events are planned to take place in the coming months.
