Instruments and valves for Coari and Juaruna stations

Once again adopting the MIV (Main Instrumentation Vendor) concept, Fluxo and Emerson are supplying instruments and valves for the gas compression stations in Coari and Juaruna, located along the Urucu-Manaus gas pipeline.

The supply includes all pressure, temperature, flow transmitters, pressure gauges, thermometers, level gauges, control valves, self-operated valves and on/off valves in partnership with a large national valve manufacturer.

The project's challenge is the delivery time between 90 and 120 days, which required from Fluxo and Emerson a lot of agility in issuing and approving drawings and expediting materials.

In the MIV sales modality, Fluxo and Emerson enter the business as supply partners dealing with the entire instrumentation part, advancing deadlines and making the supply interfaces that would be the responsibility of the EPCista, leaving it free to deal with its core business.

Shared responsibility makes the “win-win” partnership work effectively, and Emerson's technological advantages, such as the adoption of AMS Asset Management Software as a project validation tool and aid in commissioning, and the full range of of products that Emerson has, make the project run well and meet the expectations of the EPCist and the End Customer.
