Fluxo won the Capstone Turbine Corporation award for top seller of microturbines above 600 kW in 2009. The award was given to Fluxo during a training session held by Capstone in California in June of this year. The meeting involved all the company's distributors and representatives for the American continent from countries such as Brazil, Canada, USA, Mexico, Puerto Rico, Colombia, Chile, Ecuador and Argentina.
Fluxo's title was won thanks to the combination of three 800 kW microturbines supplied to Copasa, which will use biogas from the treatment of effluents in Belo Horizonte. The microturbines have already been delivered and installed and are in the commissioning and start-up phase.
During the training, topics such as new products, updates of existing microturbines, competitor technologies, US government policies, among others, were addressed. Visits were also made to the Capstone factory and to customers with microturbine installations, in addition to discussion tables between distributors, in which each one spoke about the market in their country, with case presentations and exchange of information on successful applications.
