DeltaValve: hegemony in coke units
DeltaValve, through Fluxo, won the bid to supply top and bottom valves for Rnest and Comperj coke reactors, a fact that proves its hegemony in the Brazilian market for this application. DeltaValve's partnership with Petrobras began in 2003, when the state-owned company acquired the first coke reactor bottom valve for Brazil, specifically for Reduc, continuing with acquisitions for Revap, Replan, Rpbc and Repar.
The new concept brought by DeltaValve was very well received by Petrobras for presenting a great increase in safety, as well as in operational efficiency, allowing a reduction in the reactor unloading time. The standardization of these valves at the state-owned company allows significant gains in terms of operating costs, facilitating the exchange of experiences and personnel training, in addition to enabling a local service structure.
To ensure good local assistance, Fluxo proved to be an ideal partner for DeltaValve, as it is a consolidated company in the Brazilian market, with the ability to offer technical assistance in any part of the country. Currently, Fluxo's service team is being trained to work with DeltaValve equipment. In a second stage, boilermaking companies will be accredited to carry out heavy services.
