Fluxo has signed a contract to supply four Rosemount radar level gauges to Cosan's unit in Jataí, Goiás. The radar gauge will be used to control tank inventory and operational safety, allowing process reliability with low need for intervention and on-line information. The radars should be installed later this month.
Grupo Cosan is the only fully integrated player in the renewable energy sector, being present in all links in the sugar-energy sector's value chain. It has 23 production units, four refineries and two port terminals. With an expected production of 360 million liters of ethanol, the Jataí plant will co-generate 340,000 megawatts/hour and generate more than 4,500 jobs.
