Usina Nova América will have its fully automated terminal
Fluxo, leader and pioneer in the automation of petrochemical and chemical terminals in Brazil, now expands its presence in the market by supplying the automation of the truck loading system for an alcohol distillery. This is a Turn Key project contracted by Usina Nova América SA Agroenergia, unit in Maracaí – SP, which will come into operation at the end of April 2007.
The supply comprises all the equipment that make up the measurement and control system of the road loading platform:
The metering system comprises three metering lines with Daniel Danload 6000 electronic flow gauges, Daniel turbine flowmeters and digital control valves, Civacon optical ground and overflow monitors, all fully assembled mechanically and electrically on the loading platform.
All pre-determiners will be connected to Nova América's data network, and will generate product reports that will give the plant control of all shipments carried out. Nova América's corporate software will automatically issue invoices based on these reports. Flow services will range from detailing the installation, to startup and training in the operation of installed equipment.
Nova América is currently one of the leading national retailers in the sugar market. Its main activity is the industrialization and sale of sugarcane derivatives, with an annual production of 550 thousand t. of product.
