P-53 celebrates 500 thousand men/hour without accidents

Petreco Process System, a division of Cameron Corporation represented in Brazil by Fluxo, together with Petrobras, CDC, Quip and BT Engineering from Singapore, celebrated the milestone reached of 500,000 man-hours without accidents in the construction of process modules and conditioning of the gases to be produced by the P-53.

The feat coincided with inspection visits to the works made by José Antonio de Figueiredo, executive manager for the south/southeast of Petrobras, together with Otoniel Reis and Bartolomeu Vero, directors of QUIP (consortium formed by Queiroz Galvão, Ultratec and IESA) and of Petreco vice president and executive manager for P-53 execution Steve Simonton and Mark Schubert, respectively.

As Mark Schubert pointed out, Petreco's motto is “safety first”, which means safety first. Fluxo, a company certified with SA8000, is happy to work with partners who adopt safety as a higher standard”, says Sérgio Pato, vice president of Fluxo.
