FMC and flow in the Campos Basin runoff
FMC and Fluxo signed a contract with Transpetro for the supply of 19 maritime cargo arms to be installed at the São Sebastião Terminal, in São Paulo. There will be twelve 16” diameter arms, one 12” and six 8”. The contract includes the supply of equipment, technical installation assistance, commissioning and training of the customer's operation and maintenance teams.
The supply will take place over a period of one year and is part of the Oil Flow and Treatment Master Plan - PDET. In this plan, 50% of the oil produced in the Campos Basin is transported to the Autonomous Repumping Platform - PRA1 by submarine pipelines, and then transferred from this platform, via oil tankers, to the São Sebastião and Angra dos Reis terminals, mainly, from where it is drained. for refineries.
The acquisition of more modern arms with greater capacity provides the terminal with greater speed in unloading and expands the operational and environmental safety margins required by the current legislation for operations of this nature.
