In full operation for 18 years

Saab has been proving the quality and resistance of its equipment since it arrived in Brazil. The first onshore tank telemetry system deployed in the country has been in full operation for 18 years. These are examples of Saab Rosemount's first generation of ground tank radars (TRL-1), launched in 1985 and supplied in 1988 to the former Copene, now Braskem.

Augusto César, senior maintenance technician at Braskem, attests to the good functioning and durability offered by Saab: “the equipment has been satisfactorily meeting and maintaining the reliability of measurements since the time they were installed by Fluxo, without ever having been replaced”, stated.

Today, in addition to being a pioneer in radar level measurement, Saab is considered a Fisher Rosemount reference center for level measurement and a specialist in this type of measurement. Saab has installed more than 50,000 meters worldwide. In Brazil, the company has been exclusively represented by Fluxo since 1986 and has systems installed in almost all Petrobras Units, in addition to distributors such as Ipiranga, BR and independent terminals such as Cattalini, Vopak, Tequimar, Stolthaven, União, Granel, Ageo, Adonai and others.

Over the years, Saab has sought technological innovation in its products to meet the needs and expectations of its users. In 1991, it launched the second generation of radars (TRL-2), followed by process radars in 1997 (PRO) and the third generation of radars in 1999 (REX).
