For the first time, the SynerGEE Gas do Brasil software users group participated in Advantica's “Team Users Conference”, held in Carlisle, Pennsylvania, USA. This year, the event brought together around 180 users of SynerGEE Gas, SynerGEE Water and SynerGEE Electric software. Among the Brazilian participants were representatives from COMGÁS, PBGÁS and CEGÁS.
More than half of the delegates belong to the gas industry, while the rest are from the areas of water, electricity, oil and GIS. The event was marked by user application lectures, Advantica presentations on current and upcoming products, industry trends, discussion forums, learning labs and social events. In the week following the event, the Brazilian group participated in a personalized training that addressed, in addition to the software's functionalities, its transient analysis module and integration with GIS software.
SynerGEE Gas, SynerGEE Water and SynerGEE Electric software are indispensable tools for the design and analysis of gas, water and electricity distribution networks respectively. In addition to allowing steady state analysis, they have several additional modules, such as: transient analysis, integration with GIS software, area isolation, among others. In addition to the products mentioned, Advantica has software for pipeline simulation (SPS) and leak detection in pipelines (LeakFinder).
