License Agreement with Jordan Technologies
Fluxo and Jordan Technologies from Louisville – Kentucky (USA) have defined a licensing agreement, through which Fluxo will manufacture in Brazil the VRU (Vapor Recovery Systems) and TOS (Firing Systems for Thermo Oxidation) , powered by Jordan.
In the United States and Mexico, environmental protection legislation has defined since 1970, the need for fuel and petrochemical terminals, for loading trucks, trains and ships, to be equipped with VRUs or TOS, to recover or burn product vapors, that are lost in the atmosphere when loading and unloading these vehicles.
In Brazil, although with delay, environmental legislation tightens its siege, so that distribution and petrochemical companies begin to move in search of the most economical and effective solution. The VRU is the system usually applied in gasoline loading terminals. Each time a vehicle is loaded, by pumping the fuel inside its tank, an appreciable volume of vapor is carried along, so that, without the recovery system, such an amount of vapor is released into the atmosphere with environmental and commercial damages. .
