Flow signs contract for fiscal measurement of Comperj gas and condensate

Per Danielle Barbosa

Fluxo has signed a contract with the Kerui Method consortium for the supply of four metering stations (EMEDs) to meet the undertaking of the Santos Basin Gas Flow Master Plan – Route 3 – Petrobras Natural Gas Processing Unit (UPGN) in Rio de Janeiro Petrochemical Complex (Comperj), located in the Municipality of Itaboraí – RJ. There will be two natural gas and condensate EMEDs for the Maricá condensate collector, and two more natural gas and condensate EMEDs for the Guapimirim condensate collector.

The four measurement stations will be mounted on skids and will fully comply with the Technical Regulation on Oil and Natural Gas Measurement (RTM) approved by the ANP and Inmetro.

In addition to the EMEDs, Fluxo was also selected to supply the skids for the measurement modules of the C5+ and LPG loading arms to meet Comperj's requirements. There are ten load measurement modules, seven of which will be used exclusively for LPG loading, and three modules will be used for C5+ loading.

Route 3 aims to expand the flow of natural gas from projects in operation in the pre-salt area of the Santos Basin. The natural gas processing unit (UPGN) will be the largest in the country, with a processing capacity of up to 21 million m3 per day. Operation is expected to start in 2021.
