Baker Hughes Masoneilan™ has just launched a version of the SVI positioners on the market smart valve interface - third generation - in 316L stainless steel to meet aggressive and hostile environments, such as offshore oil platforms.
With proven technology for over 20 years, third generation SVI digital positioners hit the market with a modular design concept, graphical display, “SMARTCAL” single button for smart calibration and commissioning. All that in addition to a robust housing, reduced air consumption, improved auto-tuning, increased response speed, advanced control, and online diagnostics. auto-tuning, increased response speed, advanced control and online diagnostics.
SVI 3 positioners offer precise and reliable performance using advanced control and diagnostic algorithms, along with field-proven non-contact position sensing technology. Plant efficiency is increased through online diagnostics where 19 KPIs are calculated and continuously monitored while the valve is in operation – data may be stored in the device for up to 1 year.
SVI 3 positioners are compatible with SVI 2 positioners assembly kits. They have explosion-proof housing, intrinsically safe, with Inmetro (National Institute of Metrology, Quality and Technology) certification both for aluminum version and 316L stainless steel versions.
