Supply consolidates leadership in ball valves for ore and tailings pipelines
FLUXO and Valvtechnologies concluded another supply of ball valves of different sizes, ranging from 2-10in 1500#, for Anglo American, in Conceição do Mato – MG. Part of the valves was delivered in November and the rest will arrive by next February.
The valves manufactured in Houston have a unique and patented design where the sealing surfaces are coated with chromium carbide through an exclusive RiTech® HVOF process, with hardness that allows long periods of operation in the most severe conditions.
With an installed base of more than 1,800 ABRASOTECH® ball valves in Brazil, ValvTechnologies has established itself as a leading supplier of ball valves for pipelines and tailings in transportation systems.
