Leakwise
Founded in 1990 in Israel, Agar Environmental emerged to produce floating sensors that use electromagnetic energy absorption technology to detect hydrocarbon films in water, called Leakwise which are commonly used in pipelines, tank parks, refineries, water plants. power generation, power distributors, maritime terminals and petrochemical industries.
These sensors continuously monitor the water and detect the presence of an oil film from a thickness of only 0.3mm. They are mounted on a float that follows the changing water level and also continuously informs the user of film thickness up to 25mm.
