Bifold was founded over a century ago and started its activities as a manufacturer of steam valves and gas detection lamps for use in coal mines. Since then, it has evolved into a leader in the design and manufacture of instrumentation valves and their accessories, pipeline valves and pumps with a focus on the O&G market and subsea and surface applications. The Bifold Group is comprised of Bifold, Bifold Marshalsea & Bifold Orange.

Bifold, which has a strong market presence and excellent brand recognition worldwide, is headquartered in Manchester, England, and has an office in China.
