After the inclusion of your name in the Certificate of Registration and Registration Classification (CRCC) for the supply of ball valves from ½" to 60" in diameter and from 150 to 2500# of pressure class, Pibiviesse was approved by the Master Vendor List OffShore for the supply of VET, PVET and common valves, in the diameters and pressure classes included in the CRCC.
The MVLO is a list of companies qualified to supply equipment, via EPC (Engineering, Procurement and Construction), in Petrobras' offshore oil and gas production platform projects.
To grant approval for the MVLO, Petrobras carried out an in-depth assessment of Pibiviesse, including an audit carried out at its factory premises in Nerviano, Italy. In July of this year, six professionals were surprised by the result of the audit, as Pibiviesse has only been operating directly in Brazil for one year. The engineer and Petrobras consultant, Walter Câmara, guaranteed the company's good performance: "Pibiviesse is qualified to supply the most demanding valves on a platform, and has proven to be one of the most competent in the world in the manufacture of high-performance valves" stated.
The inclusion of Pibiviesse in the MVLO has already started to generate business: eleven automatic valves, with diameters of up to 24" and pressure classes up to 900#, will now be supplied in January to Queiroz Galvão, which is building the PMNT-1 platform, in Campo of Manati. The valves will be installed in the pipeline that connects the platform to the mainland. As this is a highly responsible application, the valves are being equipped with Bettis pneumatic actuators that fail safely.
