Emerson Wireless Solution
Fluxo, through its representative Emerson Process Management, has a wireless instrumentation system for application in the industry using its consolidated instrumentation technology.
The technology used for the radio frequency link is Spread Spectrum (Spread Spectrum) or Smart Spectrum, which guarantees high immunity against interference and obstructions in the most diverse types of applications, and allows the transmitted signal to be captured accurately, safely and reliability by the devices scattered throughout the plant.
The system consists of a model 1420 gateway, which, connected to a controller (PLC, SDCD or Hybrid System), will emit a radio signal that will be received by wireless field devices, such as 3051S pressure and 648 temperature transmitters. .
It is important that the Gateway has the ability to diagnose the network and also the instrumentation, extending to the measured or controlled variables. The 1420 can be integrated with the asset management system, the Rosemount AMS, which makes it possible to explore all the functionalities of a HART instrumentation network, including its diagnostics, as if it were using a conventional 4-20 mA + HART system, but without using wires. The 1420 can communicate with the existing controller over an OPC, TCP/IP or Modbus network. The 1420 is scalable, and capable of supporting up to 100 wireless devices.
Once the wireless network is installed, system expansion becomes very easy and fast, as it is not necessary to run wires, reconfigure the system, find available inputs and outputs on the PLC, etc.
