Emerson launches gas flow computer
The Floboss 107 is a flow computer with configurable hardware to manage gas measurement in up to four simultaneous lines, with orifice plate type meters, turbines, ultrasonic or mass meters, with pulse inputs, analog by multivariate transmitters (MVS) or conventional and digital by Hart protocol, presenting unique characteristics, such as: compact model with low consumption; software configurable multifunctional input and output modules; modules and CPU electrically isolated by light barriers; CPU with two built-in serial communication ports; module with four-channel, multidrop Hart port, for up to 16 devices per channel; wide range of casings in materials such as anti-corrosive paint, stainless steel and UV protection for offshore applications; touch screen type graphic display; ethernet input module allowing Floboss 107 to work in a local network with other flow computers, control microcomputers and servers, including the use of OPC protocols, among others.
The Floboss 107 is compatible with applications where ROC 300 series, Floboss 500 series and Floboss 407 models are used, allowing simple application migration in FST and configuration using the same ROClink Software.
